About Blanchard Ndukuma Mukandu

Blanchard NDUKUMA

Engineer, Civil and Steel

Steel is not commonly used in the DRC's construction sector. However, working at Mukandu I have been able to present to the market more refined modern structural techniques. The DRC has a vast reserve of iron ore and we believe that steel will surpass concrete in the years to come.

About Blessing Ntela Mukandu

Blessing NTELA

Engineer, Civil and Environmental

The AEC sector allows me to do what I love best and that is to create structural monuments which will serve a critical purpose within the community. As a Structural and Environmental Engineer at Mukandu, I design and analyse a variety of engineering approaches.

About Gael Kazadi Mukandu

Gael NGOYI

Engineer, MEP and HVAC

The Mechanic, Electric, Plumbing, Heat, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) is the most neglected factor within the AEC sector in Congo. At Mukandu we have made it a pillar in our service delivery and made sure that we implement the highest International Standards to deliver accurate calculations and analysis.

About Guy Mbaya Mukandu

Guy MBAYA

Architect, Civil and MEP-HVAC

Architecture in the DRC has lost it's direction and mainly due to the fast evolving sector internationally. The softwares introduced in the market are not commonly available in DRC and 2D designs have dominated the fragmented market. At Mukandu I focus on delivering 3D designs that are adaptive to clients demands.

About Mukandu
More about the AEC sector.

Why AEC in DRC?

The DRC is best known for it's vast potential in the mining sector amongst other things. However, it has a very consistent cement manufacturing industry with competitive producing plants. The steel sector consist of imported material as the local sector has not seen much of a boom due to lack of consistent electricity and coal to produce the much needed steel. Mukandu foresees an industrial revolution within the next 3 years which will project the AEC sector in DRC. Mukandu aims to be a reputable contributing company within the sector.

Join the list of our satisfied customers

  • “Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn’t really do it, they just saw something. It seemed obvious to them after a while.”

    — Pauline Badila

  • “I think design would be better if designers were much more skeptical about its applications. If you believe in the potency of your craft, where you choose to dole it out is not something to take lightly.”

    — Colibri Kimia

  • “Design must be functional and functionality must be translated into visual aesthetics, without any reliance on gimmicks that have to be explained.”
